SASCA’s Annual General Meeting earlier this month was a huge success, with a very good turnout from the Somali community.
Talks were given by health professionals and local councillors addressed those in attendance, emphasising the brilliant work Sasca does in helping members of the community.
SASCA chair Anya Ahmed outlined the achievements and challenges of the past year, which despite seeing a cut in council funding has still led to many being initiatives launched by SASCA workers and volunteers.
