SASCA Successfully Hosts ‘No Place for Hate’ Event in Moss Side

On Friday, 18th October 2024, SASCA held a successful Hate Crime Awareness Event at the Phil Martin Centre in Moss Side. The event, supported by Manchester City Council, aimed to raise awareness about hate crime in Greater Manchester and provide critical information on the support available for victims.

The session featured presentations from key speakers, including Mahadi Mahamed from SASCA, Jennifer Taylor from the Manchester Community Safety Team, and representatives from Greater Manchester Police. Local councillors Cllr Mumtaz and Cllr Bell also provided updates on ongoing initiatives to combat hate crimes.

With a strong turnout from the community, the event offered a valuable opportunity for residents to learn, ask questions, and engage in discussions aimed at promoting a safer, more inclusive environment.

SASCA thanks all participants and partners for their contributions to this important cause.
